Age: 24
Height: 177

Erin was born and raised in Cairns, North Queensland, until at the age of 17 she followed her dreams to Sydney, where she took up a scholarship at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga and reading, she likes Asian Cuisine and she is an ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation.

In Her Own Words...

"Hello from Australia!!

My name is Erin Holland, and I was born and raised in sunny Cairns, Far North Queensland - known of course by many for the beautiful Great Barrier Reef! At 17, I moved to Sydney (home of the iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge!!) to study voice on scholarship at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Upon graduating,

I now work in the industry as singer, presenter, dancer and model. I am known for working extremely hard and I definitely don't like having days off! In my free time, I love catching up with friends, watching a football game or trying out as many restaurants as possible around Sydney.

I have always endeavoured to be involved in charitable organisations wherever possible - My main focus this year has been disadvantaged children. Such organisations I have been raising funds for include The Lilla Community (Indigenous Outreach Program near Uluru, Australia's Red Centre), and Children's First Foundation. The most important thing I have learnt is that no matter our situation, there is always something we can do to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate."

Former Disney star Lee Thompson Young found dead aged 29 after suicide

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Passed away: Former Disney star Lee Thompson Young was found dead on Monday morning in his LA home from an alleged self-inflicted gunshot wound, pictured in LA in 2006

Former Disney star Lee Thompson Young has died aged 29 after suicide.
There was no official cause of death, but Young's manager confirmed Monday that the Famous Jett Jackson actor 'tragically took his own life.'
'Lee was more than just a brilliant young actor, he was a wonderful and gentle soul who will be truly missed,' said Paul Baruch. 'We ask that you please respect the privacy of his family and friends as this very difficult time.'

Investigation: A police car was also seen parked outside the building

Young's body was found at his North Hollywood home by police Monday morning after he failed to show up for work on TNT's crime drama Rizzoli & Isles, police Officer Sally Madera said. The Los Angeles Fire Department was summoned and pronounced him dead at the scene, she said.
LAPD robbery-homicide detectives and the Los Angeles County coroner office were investigating because it is a high-profile death, she said. Madera had no details about the cause of death.
According to TMZ, the actor died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Dream role: Young was currently playing Detective Barry Frost in the TNT show Rizolli & Isles

Young's death remains a mystery because he did not leave a suicide note, TMZ reported, and although the actor did have a diary none of the writings explain the reasoning behind him taking his own life.
In addition, Young was last seen on Saturday and law enforcement officials believe that the star may have committed suicide that same day, the website also reported.
Young's death is the second high profile suicide in a week following Bachelor star Gia Allemand's hanging last Monday and subsequent death Wednesday, also at the age of 29.
Young made a name for himself as the title character in Disney's The Famous Jett Jackson, which ran from 1998 to 2001.
He then went on to play running back Chris Comer in the 2004 film Friday Night Lights, before landing the lead role on Rizzoli & Isles for the past three seasons as Boston police detective Barry Frost.

Lee Thompson Young, right, with Angie Harmon on the hit TNT series “Rizzoli & Isles,” which made its debut in 2010.

Earlier Monday, TNT announced it was renewing the series that stars Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander.
'We are beyond heartbroken at the loss of this sweet, gentle, good-hearted, intelligent man. Lee will be cherished and remembered by all who knew and loved him, both on- and offscreen, for his positive energy, infectious smile and soulful grace,' TNT, studio Warner Bros. and series producer Janet Tamaro said in a joint statement.
They sent condolences to his mother and other family members.

That '70s Show star Lisa Robin Kelly dead at 43: Troubled actress suffers cardiac arrest TWO days after checking into rehab

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER and CAROLYN HIBLEN

Tragic end: Actress Lisa Robin Kelly reportedly passed away of cardiac arrest in a California rehab facility on Wednesday night after checking herself in voluntarily earlier that week

Lisa Robin Kelly has died aged 43 at a Californian rehab facility, it has been confirmed.
The That '70 Show actress is believed to have suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away on Wednesday after attempts to revive her failed.
Lisa, who endured a long struggle with alcohol addiction, checked herself into a treatment centre on Monday determined to clean herself up, according to her agent.
Her spokesman confirmed to TMZ on Thursday: 'She had been fighting demons for a while and finally lost her battle.'

The way they were: The vivacious blonde starred as Eric Forman's promiscuous sister, Laurie, in That '70s Show between 1998 and 2003

Lisa was brought to the rehab facility by her new boyfriend on Monday, the website reported.
But just two days later, emergency responders were called when the actress was found unresponsive with needle marks on both arms.
Her new boyfriend - whose identity is not known - claimed the needle marks were not drug-related but were caused by multiple attempts to draw blood after she was hospitalised on Sunday with a blood alcohol level of .34, TMZ reports.
Lisa's manager, Craig Wyckoff, told FOX411 he had spoken with the troubled star on Monday and she was 'hopeful and confident, looking forward to putting this part of her life behind her'.

The start of her troubles: Lisa is seen here in her mugshot after being arrested for drunk driving in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina in December 2010

Assault charges: The 43-year-old was booked on a felony charge of corporal injury on a spouse in March 2012 (left), before being arrested again that November for assaulting her husband (right)

He also confirmed that she had voluntarily checked herself into the centre after being in and out of treatment facilities for alcohol addiction - she vehemently denied taking drugs - trying to get on the road to recovery.
She is reported to have fallen off the wagon following a huge dispute with her estranged husband, Robert Gilliam.
'She was battling the addiction problems that have plagued her these past few years,' Wyckoff said, adding, 'Cause of death has not been issued yet and no death certificate has been issued either.'

Cosy co-stars: Lisa starred alongside Ashton Kutcher in That '70s Show, though while he went on to bigger and better things, she virtually disappeared from the limelight after leaving the show

Tributes are slowing starting to come in for the actress as the tragedy reaches friends and co-stars.
Danny Masterson, who played Steven Hyde in That '70s Show, was the first to send his love after a fan tagged him and his co-stars in their tweet.
'Terrible, awful news. Brilliant on 70s.... See u next time LRK,kisses,' he tweeted.
Dennis Haskins, who played Mr Belding in 1980's hit TV show Saved By The Bell, also took to Twitter to express his thoughts.
He wrote: 'I'm sad to hear that Lisa Robin Kelly lost her battle while in rehab fighting to live. #RIP.'

Star potential: Lisa posted this glamorous pic to her Twitter account in September 2011, before her personal demons took hold

Meanwhile, a close friend known only as Nik has taken to the late star's Facebook page to post a message to fans.
'Lisa is gone and that's hard to digest,' they wrote. 'On her behalf I want to thank everyone for all their supportive emails and just know she was aware and grateful for each of you.
'If more people were supportive like you guys, she'd be alive today.
'She was a beautiful soul and a real artist... and I will never forget her.'
The actress had been on a tragic downward spiral in recent years, arrested at least four times in the last three years - for DUI, spousal abuse and assault.

Struggling with her addiction: The actress admitted to fighting her demons while on That '70s Show, which lead to her abrupt departure and later recasting of the character

Apocalypse Britain: Terrifying images show Parliament wrecked by flooding and Edinburgh Castle hit by swarm of tornadoes

Poll for TV channel Yesterday revealed that one in five Britons live in fear they will lose everything in a natural disaster
Also found that half of Britons are scared their homes could be wrecked by rising water if there was a flood
38% are scared of extremely cold weather for fear their loved ones would freeze to death

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

More than one in five Britons live in fear they will lose everything in a natural disaster. The image shows how the Houses of Parliament might look if there was a catastrophic flood in London

More than one in five Britons live in fear they will lose everything in a natural disaster - seen here in five stunning images of what could happen if the UK was hit by extreme forces of nature.
A poll of 2,000 people for the UK Natural Disaster Report - put together by TV channel Yesterday - found that 21 per cent were worried their lives would be devastated by some form of natural disaster.
The report, released to coincide with the premiere of Yesterday's show Perfect Storms: Disasters that change the World, asked the 2,000 people to rate the events they were 'most worried about'.

Some 52 per cent of people say they are scared their homes could be wrecked by rising water if there was a flood. Image shows what Trafalgar Square might look like if Britain was suddenly plunged into an ice age

The poll compiled a list of the top 10 natural disasters people worried about, with flooding coming top, with 52 per cent saying they were scared their homes could be wrecked by rising water.
In second place was severe cold, with 38 per cent saying they were concerned about their loved ones perishing in freezing weather.
In third place were earthquakes - which although rare in the UK, notched up 21 per cent of the vote.

The poll revealed that 21 per cent of Britons are afraid that they could lose everything in an earthquake. However, earthquakes are not believed to pose a serious risk to the British public. Image shows how the Angel of the North could look following an earthquake

The government considers the 'highest priority risks' to the British public to be pandemic influenza, flooding, terrorist attacks and gas-rich volcanic eruptions from abroad. Image shows how London might look during a meteorite shower

To accompany the poll, the channel released five images showing stunning 'disaster scenarios' which could occur in the UK, including the Houses of Parliament ravaged by a flood, and Edinburgh Castle hit by a tornado.
Other images include the Angel of the North after an earthquake, Trafalgar Square frozen over, and a meteor shower hitting London Embankment.
The Top 10 list was analysed by Dr Bruce Malamud, a professor of Natural and Environmental Hazards at King's College London, who assessed the risks using data from the Government's recent National Risk Register of Civil Emergencies (NRR report).

Some 21 per cent of Britons believe that they will experience a natural disaster during their lifetime. Image shows how Edinburgh Castle might look during a tornado. There are an average of 30 tornadoes a year in the UK but they tend to be quite weak

The NNR report states that the 'highest priority risks' are pandemic influenza, flooding, terrorist attacks and gas-rich volcanic eruptions from abroad, such as the 2010 eruption in Iceland which affected the UK.
Other risks, categorised as 'newly assessed risks' include wildfires, infectious diseases, severe space weather such as radiation storms, severe weather and droughts.
The poll for Yesterday found that 21 per cent of people believe they would be affected by a natural disaster in their lifetime - with just four per cent worried they would be affected by war or military action and 21 per cent also worried of total economic collapse in the UK.

Is that purse fur real? New Yorker's unusual doggy bag turns heads on the streets of Manhattan

By TAMARA ABRAHAM

What a carry-on: A Brussels Griffon was seen hanging from a harness in New York this week, the straps of the carrier slung messenger-style across his owner's bright red dress

It is not uncommon to see a small dog peeking from a handbag in pet-friendly New York City.
But one young woman turned heads on the streets of Manhattan this week when she stepped out with her Brussels Griffon hanging from a harness, the straps slung messenger-style across her body.
Her four-legged friend certainly didn't seem to mind his legs hanging free from the camo-print fabric, but it was certainly startling to see a living creature hanging from the end of her strap in lieu of a bag.

Content? The dog certainly didn't seem to mind his legs hanging free from the camo-print fabric

It didn't take long for fellow dog-owning Manhattanites to cast their verdict on the unusual pet carrier - and they weren't impressed.
'It doesn't look comfortable,' one told MailOnline. 'The poor thing's legs will probably fall asleep! I'd want to carry my dog in front of me so I could pet her, or see any discomfort.

Cruel? Fellow dog-owning Manhattanites were not impressed by the unusual pet carrier though

'It looks fashiony but I'd never use it,' she added.
'That's so cruel!' another remarked. 'Although mine does love it when I carry him around.'
One remarked that it could be uncomfortable for the owner too.

Doing a Bieber! X Factor boy band Emblem3 strip down as they recreate Justin's naked guitar photographs

By CHELSEA WHITE

Having a laugh: Drew Chadwick and brothers Wesley and Keaton Stromberg from Emblem3 stripped down on Monday night posing naked except for strategically placed instruments, copying the now infamous pictures of Justin Bieber

Emblem3 did not win X Factor but they may have just won themselves a whole lot of enemies.
The boy band is now the target of Justin Bieber's die-hard fans, dubbed Beliebers, after positing a naked Twitter picture making fun of the pop star.
Drew Chadwick and brothers Wesley and Keaton Stromberg, stripped down on Monday night posing naked except for strategically placed instruments, copying the now-infamous pictures of Justin which were leaked earlier this week.

Bizarre prank: Justin was naked but he covered his private parts with an acoustic guitar, while jamming out a serenade for his granny, Diane Dale

The boys were replicating the photographs that surfaced online of the 19-year-old Canadian's bizarre nude prank at his grandmother's house in Toronto during Canadian Thanksgiving back in October 2012.
In photos the 19-year-old is seen covering his modesty with an acoustic guitar, while jamming out a naked serenade for his granny, Diane Dale.

On the rise: Emblem3 have just released their album Nothing To Loose and were named the Teen Choice Breakout Group on Sunday

Emblem3 made sure to up the ante in their photograph by not only using guitars to keep their modesty intact but also a keyboard and showing off their very defined six packs.
The trio - who are signed to Simon Cowell's record label, Synco Records and Colombian records - posed for the naughty picture in Justin's hometown Canada.

Where has all of Lady Gaga gone? Topless singer's ribcage and back bones protrude as she shows off her extremely skinny frame in V magazine

By HANNA FLINT and JADE WATKINS

Where has all of Gaga gone? Lady Gaga is a shadow of her former self in a new image featured in her upcoming risque photo shoot for V magazine

She is said to have shed 30lbs since her hip surgery earlier this year.
But it appears that that number may be more as Lady Gaga is a shadow of her former self in a new image featured in her upcoming risque shoot for V magazine.
With her ribcage, back and hip bones protruding, the singer reveals an alarmingly skinny frame in two other topless shots.

Cling wrapped: Gaga also goes completely nude, merely covered in cling wrap

Merely wearing a pair of black briefs, Gaga bends over only to accentuate her tiny torso.
In the shocking shots, she also experiments with yet another hairstyle, this time a blonde short crop.
With no clothes to model in the pictures, the focus is not only on the Born This Way star's physique, but also her heavily made-up appearance.
Meanwhile, an alternative cover for the magazine has also been released.

A shadow of her former self: Gaga is pictured onstage performing in Amsterdam in September last year

Cover girl: Gaga wears two see-through ensembles as she poses in two alternative covers for the magazine

On it, Gaga's chest is merely concealed by a purple perspex jacket.
The pop star also exposes herself in several other snaps for her daring September shoot.
Ahead of the November release of her new album ARTPOP, the Pokerface singer stripped down for the array of images, taken by photographers Inez van Lambsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
In another shot, Gaga is seen with black muck on her face and her bust.

Getting them out again: Gaga goes nude for V Magazine's September Issue

The magazine features Gaga on four different covers, with each look custom-designed by world-renowned design houses, Balenciaga, Armani, Saint Laurent and Versace.
The first image of a butt-naked Gaga was uploaded to Instagram last month by Inez and Vinoodh.
In it the singer is sat on a chair with her legs spread apart and her modesty protected by a strategically place hand and arm across her chest.

Risque: The singer provocatively wears a ripped cream vest in one sizzling shot

Saint Laurent: On another alternative cover, Gaga wears a YSL sequined jacket with indigo jeans

'This girl is pure perfection!' The photographers said this shot was one of their favourites

Another favourite: The star painted her face with white but sported a red pout and fierce black boots

Like a lion: Another image captured Gaga with a voluminous gold mane

Dirty? The photographers loved this shot as well, showing the singer's darker side
