Celebrity jeweller Nicola Cerrone was delighted to be the jeweller of choice for the recent engagement of long‐time couple Jennifer Hawkins and Jake Wall. “I have known Jennifer a long time so when Jake approached me to design an engagement ring I was honoured to share this wonderful moment for a beautiful young Australian couple”, said Cerrone.
After a long, world-wide search for the perfect cut diamond, Jake proposed to Jennifer in New Zealand with an impressive, 5-carat round brilliant–cut diamond, sourced by Cerrone from the world master of cut diamonds, Belgium.
The setting was later designed by the pair with Nicola Cerrone, as they wanted the classic-cut diamond to be set in an elegant and exclusive design. The 5-carat diamond takes centre stage in the design as it is adorned with over 3 carats of round, brilliant-cut diamonds which profile a stunning, scalloped claw setting. Set in platinum, the entire band is encrusted with round brilliant‐cut diamonds. The inner shank of the band features drop-set striking black diamonds, which is a unique and distinct finish to the ring, and a first for a Cerrone engagement ring.
This exquisite piece was handcrafted in Cerrone’s very own workshop by a dedicated team of artisans, this design is already a frequent request among newly engaged couples.
