DON'T Fill Me In: Craig David boasts incredibly worked out body - but has he taken it too far?

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Body confident: Craig David shared his most inspiring self-portrait with his fans via Instagram on Thursday

He may have had a song about different flavours of ice cream.
But it looks as though Craig David has not had a high-fat treat for quite some time, as he has shared a personal snap of his well worked-out physique with fans.
The 32-year-old British RnB singer decided to share his photograph with fans to help them achieve their weight loss goals and admitted that even he struggles to keep off excess weight from time to time.

Pretty fit: Craig outshone boxer David Haye when they hit the beach together in 2011 as, even then, he was in brilliant shape

Taking to the photo-sharing site, Craig displayed an image of himself looking as though he has zero percent body fat - and maximum muscle.
Standing in just a pair of black shorts, the singer's body is rippling with muscle and he looks incredibly lean - however his face looks gaunt and his body almost looks strained by his muscles.
However in an open letter to fans, he reveals that he does occasionally binge on junk food, but keeps his photograph to remind him of his goals and to help him keep his bad eating habits in check.

'One of the best ways to help yourself stay focused throughout those days when you feel a little weak or lost is to put little reminders around you to help bring you back to the present moment and focus you before you do something you'll look back on and regret,' he singer said via an extended Instagram message.
'In this case when I'm training hard and about to start my cutting phase where calories are reduced and I know there will be moments where I'll wanna eat every chocolate bar in my cupboard or especially when travelling on planes back and forth from Miami to Europe all the time,' he went on.

Forget the flavours: Craig doesn't look like he ever eats much ice-cream despite singing a song that made reference to the chilled dessert

'I just go to this photo on my phone...under the folder "Stay Focused" which reminds me instantly to get back on track and in this case reminds me how good it feels when I achieve my goal and don't listen to my "old inner weakness" voice trying to remind me of how I used to be!
'Trust me it works!!! All I hear inside when I see this photo is..... Stop being weak and fix up...you've done it before, you can do it again! Booom!
'This quickly throws me back on course and on to completing my goal.
'This is one of the photos for my fitness goals, but I have the same reminders in picture form for motivating me in the studio with my music, making time for my friends when it's easy to get caught up in work and pictures of things that really matter to me in my life.
'All designed to focus me back in to the present moment. You should do the same if it helps you stay on course to achieving your goals and btw the photo can be of anything that just shifts your attention back in line with where it should be...
'believe you've already achieved it and it will manifest!'

Fitness fanatic Craig hardly has much to be worried about as he has become more famous for his incredible beach body than for his music in recent years.
The star even put British boxer David Haye to shame when the pair were spotted together on a beach in 2011.
Although his message to fans is very sweet in that he is hoping to inspire others to reach their own body goals.
