There is a new Miss America tonight. Among the contenders for the crown are talent preliminary winners Miss North Carolina Adrienne Core for clogging, Miss Rhode Island Deborah Saint-Vil for singing, and Miss Nebraska Teresa Scanlan for piano playing.
Swimsuit (officially Lifestyle & Fitness) preliminary winners and strong contenders for the crown are Miss Hawaii Jalee Fuselier, Miss Alabama Ashley Davis, and Miss Oklahoma Emoly West.
