Class of '92 re-United: David Beckham enjoys a day in Manchester with former teammates Giggs, Butt, Scholes and the Neville brothers

By KIMBERLEY DADDS

Reunited: David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs, Phil Neville and Gary Neville are spotted heading to Artisan Bar & Restaurant in Manchester on Monday night

He's gone on to become an international superstar and arguably the most famous footballer of all time.
But David Beckham went back to his roots on Monday night as he headed out in his old haunt of Manchester with his former Manchester United team mates Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes.
The footballers headed out en masse to catch up and unwind for the evening as they reminisced about the last 22 years.
The six Reds legends had a lot to catch up when they met up at the Artisan Bar & Restaurant on Monday, 22 years to the day since they signed their first professional contracts at Old Trafford.

Catch up: David looked dapper in his smart casual ensemble as he stepped out in a checked shirt, dark jeans and smart shoes

Beckham has since gone on to marry a Spice Girls star, move to Los Angeles and become an international superstar known the world over.
But he looked more than happy to be catching up with his long time pals, showing his down to earth side as he walked along in a checked shirt, dark jeans and smart shoes.
The rest of the men opted for a variety of shirts or T-shirts and jean combos, either with trainers or brown leather shoes.

En masse: The footballers looked in high spirits as they grinned and giggled as they caught up in their old stomping ground of Manchester

They grinned and giggled as they were spotted walking along to the bar to mark the occasion.
Even before United won the FA Youth Cup in 1992 there had been talk of a crop of youngsters to compare with the Busby Babes, who won the first competition in 1953.
Each one was developed by United from a very early age, some signing schoolboy forms with the club at the age of just 14.

A class apart: Harrison (left), with Ryan Giggs, Nicky Butt, David Beckham, Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Paul Scholes and Terry Cooke in 1992

Looking a bit different: Giggs, Butt, Beckham, Gary Neville, Phil Neville and Scholes recreate the above photo with Ferguson ahead of Gary Neville's testimonial match in 2011

The term 'Fergie's Fledglings' came back into common usage during the 1995–96 season, after Ferguson largely used this second group of youngsters coming through to replace a number of distinguished older players who had left the club.
Following a 3–1 opening day away defeat to Aston Villa, pundit Alan Hansen commented on Match of the Day 'You'll never win anything with kids.'

Dapper: The boys headed to the Artisan Bar & Restaurant to enjoy some food and drinks together

The young side, with an average age of just 24, then went on to overturn Newcastle United's 10-point Christmas lead to win the club's third league title in four years. This was followed up by a 1–0 win over Liverpool in the 1996 FA Cup Final to secure the Double. A period of great success followed, the most outstanding triumph being The Treble in 1999.
Many of the so-called 'Class of '92' became regulars for both club and country during this time.

Catching up with the gossip: David Beckham enjoys a low key lunch with football agent best friend Dave Gardner

By MIKE LARKIN

Who needs football? David Beckham was spotted enjoying a Coca-Cola while lunching with friend Dave Gardner in New York on Wednesday

Just weeks ago he bid a tearful final farewell to playing professional football.
But it seems David Beckham is keeping up with all the gossip from his former profession after he was spotted having an intimate lunch with soccer agent friend Dave Gardner in New York on Wednesday.
However it seems his old chum was not enjoying the former Manchester United player's witty repartee as much as one would expect, as he was only too happy to take a phone call during their meeting.

Having a sit down: The pair looked excited to be sharing some quality time together in the Big Apple

The nonplussed underwear model wore a furrowed look on his brow as he stared off into the distance while Dave took his important call.
Former Real Madrid player David, 38, was still looking match fit in a tight-fitting black T-shirt, jeans, red trainers and an oversized beanie hat.

Beanie boy: Perhaps David was making a vain attempt to incognito by wearing his oversized woollen hat

And the former Pepsi spokesman was taking advantage of kissing the life of a professional athlete goodbye by enjoying a can of Coca-Cola.
Perhaps his ladies man cohort had a perfectly good excuse for snubbing the football favourite, who overcame numerous technical deficiencies to become arguably the world's most famous footballer.
For Dave is back on the market after a short-lived fling with Ron Kardashian's ex Rita Ora, who has now hitched her wagon to Scottish DJ Calvin Harris.

Swapping this: David has kissed his football career goodbye after a high profile but low impact cameo at PSG

The 35-year-old has had an even more colourful life away from football than his global superstar comrade.
In 2010 he received a generous divorce settlement from former Hollyoaks actress Davinia Taylor, whose father Alan Murphy made an estimated £190 million fortune from a toilet paper factory.

For this: He will now be able to devote all of his energy to his other great passion - modelling underwear

He also used to date Ryan Giggs wife Stacey, until the skillful winger ditched his future wife's sister so he could court his future spouse.
The Welshman hit the headlines in 2011 after it emerged he had slept with his brother Rhodri's wife Natasha, which was revealed soon after he failed in a bid to gag the press to prevent an affair with former Big Brother contestant Imogen Thomas becoming public knowledge.

Skater girl! David Beckham's only daughter Harper has her sights set on a skateboard as retired footballer takes her and his son Brooklyn to Venice Beach

By DEBBIE EMERY

Back in town: David Beckham took Brooklyn and Harper shopping on Tuesday after returning to Los Angeles

Her mother Victoria Beckham may want her daughter Harper to follow in her own fashionable footsteps .
But it looks like the tiny tot may take after her sporty father.
Little Harper was taken by several skateboard decks as she went shopping with her recently retired dad David Beckham in Venice Beach, Los Angeles on Tuesday,

Well-behaved son: While dad shopped, Brooklyn, 14, picked up milkshakes for the family

The one-year-old was seen pointing at the skateboards as her father held her in his arms during the outing.
Following his emotional departure from professional football earlier this month, the 38-year-old family man looked happy to be back in Los Angeles as he browsed around the skateboard shop with both Harper, and oldest son, Brooklyn.
The former Manchester United star, who ended his career in tears in a match with Paris Saint-Germain on May 18, carried Harper while Brooklyn scouted out the cool gear.

Hip father: With his knitted hat and arm of tattoos, Beckham was the coolest dad in town

Dressed in his signature casual style of a knitted beanie hat and a white T-shirt that displayed his colourful collection of tattoos, the father of four cradled Harper (who turns two in July), while she wore a bright pink sundress on the hot summer day.
Brooklyn, 14, was spotted sprinting down the road outside, showing off the speed and agility that earned his famous father a 22-year playing career.

Fast feet: Brooklyn already appears to have inherited his dad's sporting skills

The teenager will soon get to show off his own skills on the pitch after the news that he is training with Queens Park Rangers was announced on the London team's Twitter page last week, although he does not have a contract with them yet.
'The official Hoops Twitter account @OfficialQPR said: 'Contrary to reports, Brooklyn Beckham has been training at #QPR but has not joined our academy.'

Happy Harper: The Beckhams' youngest seems just as content in a sports shop as she does buying dresses with mother, Victoria
