A beauty from Mercedes, Josefina Herrero has been crowned "Miss Mundo Argentina 2012" by outgoing beauty queen Antonella Kruger (Miss Mundo Argentina 2011) in the grand finale of Miss Mundo Argentina 2012 at the Costa Galana Hotel in Mar del Plata on Friday night 13th April, 2012.

Josefina Herrero is an official representative of Argentina in Miss World 2012 beauty contest which is the 62nd edition of Miss World beauty contest, and it will held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on 18th August, 2012.

Josefina Herrero, a 17-year old student who competed as Miss Mundo Corrientes, was crowned Miss Mundo Argentina 2012 during the event held at the Costa Galana Hotel in Mar del Plata, province of Buenos Aires, on April 13th. Josefina, standing 178 cm tall, will compete in the Miss World 2012 pageant to be held in Ordos, China, in August.
