Bangkok to host Manhunt International 2012
Alex Liu, President of Manhunt International Organization, has announced that Bangkok, Thailand, will be the host city for the 2012 edition of Manhunt International.
The Manhunt International contest is one of the largest and the longest running male beauty contest in the world and is franchised in more than 70 countries worldwide. It is opened to aspiring males between the ages of 18 to 30 years old, single or married, providing them a platform to launch their international modeling career.
Since it was established in 1993, the contest has been hosted in Australia, Singapore, Philippines, China, Korea and Taiwan, and now it comes to amazing Thailand, a beautiful country, rich in culture and traditions.
From 1st to the 11th of November 2012, more than 50 international representatives from all continents will converge to Bangkok to compete for the coveted title of Manhunt International 2012. John Chen Jian Feng, Manhunt International 2011 from China, will crown his successor on the 10th November 2012. The contestants will be judged in national costumes, swimwear, photographs and evening wear segments.
The winner wins a USD 10.000-cash prize, a modeling contract, USD 25,000.00 in aesthetics treatments, photographic portoflios worth USD 5,000,00, and several other prizes totaling over USD 40,000.00.
It was recently announced that Bangkok will also host Mister International 2012, which is scheduled to begin right after the conclusion of Manhunt International 2012.
