Life after football: David Beckham got back to his day job as he signed items from his H&M Bodywear collection in Paris, France, on Friday

He stunned fans earlier this month when he announced his retirement from professional football.
But now that David Beckham no longer has any sporting commitments, he can at least use his time fulfilling his other roles.
The 38-year-old sportsman got back to his day job in Paris, France, on Friday, signing items from his Bodywear collection at the H&M store in the capital.

Looking refreshed and in good spirits, the former sportsman smiled widely for waiting photographers in the shop before enjoying a lengthy meet and greet with eager fans.
Becks cut an eye-catching figure for the event as he arrived sporting a bright red top and matching trainers, teamed with a pair of black trousers.
The father-of-four finished off his look with a smart watch, and rolled the sleeves of his top up in order to show off his tattooed forearms.

Prior to the event, David encouraged fans to come along to see him, writing on his Facebook page: 'Hi, if you're in Paris tomorrow, I'll be at the H&M store at 54 Boulevard Haussmann from 9am to sign products from my Bodywear line.
'Would love to see you all there....'

Last weekend, David played his final professional football game as he captained Paris St Germain against Brest.
With his wife Victoria and their four children Romeo, Brooklyn, Cruz and Harper, watching from the stand, Beckham was given a standing ovation by players and fans from both sides as he left the pitch to be substituted in the second half.
