She's more often than not seen looking moody and subdued.
So when Kristen Stewart smiles, it is usually to make a point - as she proved at the Chanel Paris Fashion Week show on Tuesday.
The Twilight actress appeared to be somewhat overdoing the joviality as she laughed it up while posing for photographers outside the highly-anticipated show.

And it would seem Kristen's overt display of happiness, whether feigned or genuine, may have something to do with recent reports that her ex Robert Pattinson has moved on - with her friend Riley Keough.

The actor had been spotted with a mystery redhead who was later revealed to be Elvis Presley's granddaughter Riley - with whom Kristen starred in recent movie The Runaways.
However, whether or not the information affected her, Kristen put on a cheery display as she posed before heading inside to take up her seat on the front row alongside Boardwalk Empire actor Michael Pitt.

She added a grungy twist to her otherwise fairly ladylike ensemble with black driving gloves, and accessorised with chain bracelets on each wrist and up her arms.
Kristen finished off her look with a pair of eye-catching black heels - a modern take on the classic T-bar.
