'If I'd known my ex was pregnant, I wouldn't have dated Lucy': TOWIE father-to-be Dan Osborne opens up on his complicated life

When Dan Osborne and Lucy Mecklenburgh got together on holiday in Marbella, many viewers thought the next new TOWIE couple had arrived.
However, the good-looking pair's burgeoning romance has been stopped in its tracks after the male model found out his ex-girlfriend Megan is pregnant with his child.
Now speaking in depth for the first time since it was revealed on the show he is about to become a father, the 21-year-old admits his excitement about his unborn child.

He admits if he knew about Megan's pregnancy before Marbella last month, he would never had made a move on Lucy.
He tells the latest issue of New! magazine: 'I felt bad for both Lucy and Megan, but in different ways. If I’d known Megan was pregnant, I wouldn’t have got to know Lucy.'
Dan and Megan, 20, had dated on and off for around 18 months, but split around late March, early April.

He didn't get together with boutique owner Lucy, 21, until the TOWIE cast flew to Marbella at the end of May.
Although Dan admits Megan and he had been arguing a lot before they split, they've been getting on famously since they discovered her pregnancy.
Speaking about her pregnancy, Dan said: 'She’s 13 weeks. I’m not sure how far along she was when she told me she was pregnant, which is why it came as such a shock when we went for the first scan. We hadn’t realised!'

Although Dan isn't dating Lucy, the couple still enjoy a flirty friendship.
On Sunday's episode of TOWIE, Lucy expressed her annoyance to Dan that things couldn't be different.
Dan explained: 'Megan would never pressure me to stop dating, but I don’t think it would be fair on either of them if I’d continued to date Lucy. I want to concentrate on one thing at a time.
